:Personality:: A quiet, serious thinker, Imitsu's personality does not necessarily fit the image the public has of an ex-Shinigami of the Gotei 13, proudly and fervently fighting to defend the Seireitei. He rarely raises his voice, even when angered and generally delivers orders and reports in an efficient, calm manner. In his eyes, the words of his superiors, equals and those under him carry equal weight in all of his decision-making. He's not so blind and proud as to ignore valuable insight from subordinates and comrades and will often take great measures to investigate their advice and ideas. By the same token, Haishiro recognizes the merit and experience needed to attain any rank above his and thus, for the most part, respects any superior, making sure to carry out their orders diligently unless they clash horribly with his sense of morality and ethics; though, being a Vaizard, their organization is a bit loose and he typically isn’t afraid to voice any objections he might have.

Unfortunately, at times, his silent nature conveys the impression of a frosty, aloof attitude. It doesn't help that Imitsu is a fan of sarcasm and enjoys matching wits with anyone willing to have a go at it. In times of anger or distress, not even his rock solid Shinigami discipline can completely quell his tendency to fire back with a biting retort. This streak of dry humor often rubs those around him the wrong way; one of the reasons he will never have many close friends.

Favoring deceit, trickery and operating against the dramatic backdrop of the Gotei 13 and Vaizard, Imitsu much prefers to avoid direct conflict and dislikes working as a team, a seemingly counterproductive feeling that rubs his fellow Vaizard the wrong way at times. This stems from his naturally distrusting nature of relying on others; instead, he would much prefer to work alone, with no one to depend on and no one depending on him. The man isn't an idiot, though, and realizes that such an approach to battle would quickly result in the deaths of yourself and everyone around you; thus, he spends his free time training mind, body and spirit in an effort to strengthen oneself as much as possible.

Unknown to most, one of the contributing factors to Imitsu's lack of spoken words is due to his frequent, nearly constant migraines. A side effect of having his head nearly split open during a training exercise, medics were unable to cure his chronic headaches despite advancements in medical technology. Strangely, Haishiro doesn't mind his condition. When other express their sympathies to him, he turns to the age old adage that, 'what doesn't kill you merely makes you stronger'. Due to his condition, Imitsu is a frequent pill popper and like any other drug, over time, it's developed somewhat of a hold on him. Ironically, the man can function fine with a deep zanpakuto wound but deprive him of his pain meds and he loses his focus and patience quickly.

Using his migraines as an impetus to complete his work, the man pushes himself to his limits, always preparing for the worst. Ever aware of enemies of the Vaizard both inside and out of Soul Society, Imitsu tends to play things close to his chest, only revealing what he has to when absolutely necessary. Enigmatic and at times, quite demanding of those that work with him, the man is actually, rarely seen. Even within the real world and Seiretei, though some may know him by name and others remember his physical features, Imitsu is like a wraith. According to him, everything and everyone has a purpose, a function, and a role. This belief has let him to lead a lonely life, not that he's unhappy about it but it's quite obvious the man is missing a large part of what it means to be alive, to be truly happy.

Basic Cero~ Cost: 200 Sp
High-powered energy blasts that can be fired from various body parts, such as mouth, tongue, hand or fingers. Only menos, arrancar, and vizard have so far been shown to use cero attacks, and it appears that stronger entities can use it more efficiently. Cannot be blocked or stopped by anyone rank 3 or lower.

Chiyudo 4~ Cost: 150 Sp
Ice Bandages
This is another basic chiyudo the medical shinigami learns. It utilizes the ice element to form a temporary bandage to stop up minor wounds. It can be maintained for as many posts as the user can support it. Additional damage may be done to the wounded area if impacted

Chiyudo 5~ Cost: 150 Sp
Minor Poison Cure
This is another basic chiyudo the medical shinigami learns. It utilizes the water element to cleanse the body and wash out foreign toxins. Moderate level poison effects are neutralized and high level poison effects are slowed slightly.

Hadou 4~ Cost: 200 Sp
White Lightning
This is basic low level attack that uses Kidou in the form of lighting. It shoots out in a bolt of lightning in a straight direction. If it hits the target it can stun the target if greatly weakened.

Hadou 31~ Cost: 100 Sp
Shakkahou - Artillería Carmesí
This is a mid-level hadou attack that can be prepared quickly. It forms a strong red ball in the caster's hands to provide a blast of power.

Hadou 54~ Cost: 200 Sp
Waste Flame
This hadou generates a fire is able to completely burn and incinerate a target of a low reiatsu. Can be used to burn lost limbs and on funeral pyres.

Bakudo 1~ Cost: 250 Sp
Binding Restraint
This is a basic bakudo that creates a binding sleeve of reiatsu. It binds the target's arms behind their back and makes it difficult to fight. If the kidou works, this requires the target to use 250 Sp in order to break free from.

Bakudo 10~ Cost: 300 Sp
Earthern Statue
This is a kidou in which the caster makes it appear to the opponent that the earth beneath him/her is alive. It "appears" to grab their legs and "completely cover them in dirt". The dirt hardens and they may find it difficult to move in. Shunpo is difficult but normal walking pace may be unhindered. However, the caster must have more reiatsu than the opponent for it to be effective.

Imitsu's Zanpakuto is rare in that it's a female spirit rather than than the typical male. Haishiro fondly describes Yorutsuki as being a flirtatious, testy bitch and it seems she is a large part of Imitsu's determination to continue to grow in strength; her name means, Moon in the Night. While she pushes and prods him when he's down, even going so far as to challenge his manhood, Yorutsuki is quick to turn on her charm and jokingly flirt with Imitsu, much to his chagrin and annoyance. Imitsu is known to mutter, "Damn women, the saying is true. You can't live with them and you can't live without them." His Zanpakuto's manifestation takes on the appearance of a gray mist wraith always on the backdrop of a moonlit plain stretching to infinity. Able to change her form at will, Yorutsuki usually appears as a floating entity with pronounced breasts, glowing yellow eyes and flowing hair.

Shikai Form:
Imitsu's Zanpakuto changes shape, extending itself and forming a two bladed weapon. Difficult to wield due to its size and lack of suitable areas with which to hold it, Imitsu uses both blades effectively in combat, usually parrying with the white blade and quickly counter attacking with the black blade. Longer ranged thrusts, stabs and other such attacks are feasible with the weapon's shape as well.

Bankai Form:
Haishiro becomes wreathed in a black and white thick mist like substance that seems to stem from his modified standard shinigami attire. One side of it is black, the other is white while another grey layer is visible underneath. The color scheme is applied to his zanpaktuo as well. It transforms into a large dual bladed weapon with one being white, the other black. Due to the thick black and white mist that perpetually surrounds him, it is difficult to discern his intentions in battle and at times, it seems like he's merely floating from one place to the other when he in fact is running and/or using flash steps.

Description of Power and Release Phrase: His Shikai’s release phrase is: Eclipse, Yorutsuki. Both blades are unique in their abilities and how they contribute to Imitsu's battling technique. The white blade acts as his shield, being able to handle substantially more punishment then its black counterpart; however, its attack power is greatly diminished. On the other side of the coin, the black blade has enhanced attack power but Haishiro must be prudent with the angle and power of his attack, lest he break the weaker blade on a stronger enemy defense. Both blades, when swung, trail a black and white mist-like substance through the air that is purely there for aesthetic purposes; though, Imitsu often uses it to disguise his movements and upcoming attacks.


:Shikai Techniques::

1. Kaijin Mori [Ash Lance]
Description: Description: Haishiro is able to build up limited quantities of spiritual pressure and channel this pressure across the edges of his black blade. When released, the reiatsu is shot out of the tip similar to a laser and its range is quite impressive. Unfortunately, due to the manner in which the attack is created, prolonged combat will often water down its potency as Imitsu sustains damage or runs long on reiatsu.

2. Yukitoku [Snow Shield][Eliminate]
Description: Description: A large amount of spiritual pressure is built up and channeled through the white blade similar to the way his attack works; though, instead of attacking, the spiritual pressure forms an umbrella like barrier that extends from the tip of the blade. The barrier is strong enough to deflect most shikai attacks though repeated use gradually wears down its effectiveness.

It transforms into a large dual bladed weapon with one being white, the other black. His bankai powers rest in the mist that emanates from his clothing and being. Similar to his shikai, the white is used to form defensive barriers in any shape imaginable. Able to cover his entire being with it or form small circular shields that float around him, Haishiro relies on this half of his bankai to protect him in heated battles while he attacks with the thick, black substance. He tends to form the black mist into sharp, pointed weapons such as spears, dozens of swords, etc. Imitsu also favors forming a large number of small daggers and attacking with those from a distance, wearing his opponent down before he utilizes his bankai's larger and more powerful Zanpakuto to deliver rapid, critical blows.

2. Kuro Kiri Kaen [Black Mist Flame]
Description: Once struck by a direct attack from the black half of his bankai, the opponent is burned in that spot with black flame and while it won't kill them, it is a flaming wound wreathed in black mist that perpetuates until Imitsu is killed or forces it to go out. If the battle lasts long enough, there is the high possibility that his opponent will eventually be consumed by the numerous black mist wounds if Haishiro can land enough hits. The sheer, constant pain and unending increments of small damage eventually take their toll on even the strongest of opponents. Unfortunately, landing more than one hit on the same spot does not stack the bankai's effect.

1. Issha Zetsumei [One Shot Death]
Description: While his bankai may look impressive and is quite useful for defeating hordes of enemies, there are times when one on one duels require the utmost of reiatsu concentration. In times such as this, Imitsu can absorb the mist flowing around him, literally forcing all of his spilled out reiatsu into his own body. This technique increases his speed, agility and attack power greatly; though, it is not without consequence. Due to the dangerous and volatile nature of this ability, Imitsu cannot sustain it for long and he sacrifices all of his potent defensive power for pure destructive properties. Still, should he land a hit on his opponent, they will take a significant amount of damage.
